Bodegones del Sur are a collection of small vineyards run by one of the most prestigious and trailblazing producers in Uruguay today, Santiago Deicas. Combining both a long history and a groundbreaking approach to modern Uruguayan winemaking, they produce exceptional, organic and terroir-driven wines. Albariño 2024 encompasses everything we love about this variety: super fresh, vibrant and gorgeously salty. A nose of green apple, pear and blossom moves to a bright, minerally palate with a good lick of citrussy acidity and a long, sapid finish. A great wine to enjoy as an aperitif or, of course, paired with fresh shellfish.
